Home Garage Lift Installation

Home Garage Car Lifts, Installed Right

A lift changes what your garage can do. You can park a second car in the same bay, keep a weekend car out of harm’s way, or do your own oil changes and brake work standing up.

AEW sells and installs home garage lifts for homeowners and enthusiasts in most of Ohio, plus Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana, and we handle everything from product selection to delivery and installation.

Lifts That Fit a Home Garage

4-post storage lifts are the most common choice for storing one vehicle above another. You drive on, raise the car, and park another underneath.

Challenger CL4P7 (7,000 lb.) and CL4P9 (9,000 lb.): built for home garages, small shops and light-duty service, with up to 80 inches of clearance.

Options include a caster set so you can move the lift, 50-inch extended ramps for low-profile vehicles, drip trays, and a 4,500 lb. rolling jack and jack tray.

The SDPL-8000, the SDPL-8000XLT with more under-car clearance, the Master Series SDPL-8KMS (8,000 lb.) and SDPL-9KMS-XLT (9,000 lb.), and the heavy-duty HD4P-12000.

The 8,000 lb. Titan SDPL-8KMS is a compact, dependable best seller at a great price.

2-Post Lifts

2-post lifts give you wheels-free access for brakes, suspension and exhaust work.

The Challenger SA10 (10,000 lb.) is one of our best sellers. It can be installed symmetric or asymmetric, and its 3-stage front arms make spotting easier.

Height and width adjust at installation to suit your space, and rubber door guards help protect your car. It needs at least a 12-foot ceiling.

How Home Lift Installation Works

1. Tell us about your garage

Let us know what you drive, whether you want storage, service or both, and your ceiling height. We’ll recommend lifts that fit.

2. Pre-purchase site review

We recommend a site review so the lift you buy is right for your garage. It’s offered for a trip charge that’s credited toward your lift purchase.

3. Electrical, if needed

We don’t handle electrical work in-house, but we can connect you with trusted local providers.

4. Delivery and installation

We deliver your lift and install it.

We install lifts purchased through AEW. For liability reasons, we don’t install lifts that weren’t purchased from us.

A real person answers. You’ll get a real person when you call, and real answers when you email.

Home Garage Lift FAQ

It depends on the lift and the vehicles you want to store or work under. Tell us your ceiling height and your vehicles, and we’ll recommend lifts that fit. We can also confirm it during the pre-purchase site review.

Yes. That’s what 4-post storage lifts are built for. The Challenger CL4P7 and CL4P9, for example, provide up to 80 inches of clearance.

Do you handle the electrical?

Not in-house, but we can connect you with trusted local providers.

Do you work with homeowners, or just shops?
